We welcome transfers from other leagues!

SoCal Derby accepts graduates of other roller derby bootcamp programs and transfer skaters of all skill levels from other leagues.

Drop us a line at socalderby+dropin@gmail.com to inquire about our drop-in and extended visit options.

Local visiting skaters from near by leagues are welcome. We require local skaters to email us before dropping in as well.

All skaters (including visitors) must have valid WFTDI insurance in order to skate with SoCal Derby.

New to roller derby or even new to roller skating?

SoCal Derby has teamed up with Slam Diego Roller Derby to offer  a new skater bootcamp.

You can also email: socalderbybootcamp@gmail.com if you are interested in starting your roller derby journey with SoCal.

Get Involved

There are plenty of ways to get involved with SoCal Derby other than just playing roller derby! Contact us if you are interested in helping as an Official (on or off skates), a Bout Day Volunteer, or anything else!

Officiating Staff

Referees and NSOs

We couldn't play our game without the generous efforts of our Skating and Non-Skating officials. Find out how you can join The Stripes and learn to track penalties, work the scoreboards, and more!

Bout Day Volunteers

EMTs, Announcers, Videographers

We always need plenty of help on game day! We rely on volunteers to announce, film, serve as EMTs, and more each time we hold a bout.
